tl:dr of what it does:
– broadcasts your spec to everyone else in raid which I use in assignment auras
– sends a delayed encounter_start event because very rarely auras with encounter load condition will not receive that event otherwise
– makes it a lot easier to send addon messages for me in other auras which is for example used in anything regarding private aura macros.

You can also select Custom Nicknames for players in your raid, simply add their character in custom options and from now on all of my Auras will display their nickname instead of their character name.
I have also made a Grid2&ElvUI Plugin that enables you to do this on your unitframes, it is included in this addon:

For Grid2 you select the Indicator NSNickName.
For ElvUI you put [NSNickName] into the Text Box when choosing what to display on unitframes. ElvUI also supports: [NSNickName:veryshort] [NSNickName:short] [NSNickName:medium] to truncate the names to 5, 8 & 10 respectively.

There is also an option for Cell Nicknames but it’s kinda pointless using it as you can just add nicknames directly into that addon instead. It’s mainly made for my guild so they get it done automatically.
There is also a custom option to let the WA check your MRT note whether there are any characters entered into assignments that are currently not in the raid, making it easier to identify which character is missing in the note. Mouseover the custom option to get more details.
