Bee Fabulous with the Soaring Meaderbee!
Fancy soaring through the skies of Khaz-Algar with a magnificent Meaderbee by your side? Look no further! This little fella is eager to join you on your adventures across the Isle of Dorn and beyond.
With the launch of The War Within expansion, Blizzard has introduced a new range of mounts, and the Soaring Meaderbee is definitely one that stands out—not only for its looks but also because this Bee mount is available to both factions, unlike the previous iteration from Battle for Azeroth, which was exclusive to the Alliance.
Here’s how you can farm the Reins of the Soaring Meaderbee:
- Head to the Isle of Dorn, specifically to the area in front of the Cinderbrew Meadery. There, you’ll find a variety of mobs ranging from Gargantuan Honeyslimes to Cinderbee Knights and Tempest Wolves.
- Form a Group: Gather your most trusted companions and either form a 5-man group or two 2×4 groups. Since many of these mobs are Elites, it’s advisable to have at least one tank and one healer to make the farm smoother and faster.
- Start Culling the Mobs: Just make sure not to tell P.E.T.A. about it! What you’re after is the Sizzling Cinderpollen coin.
- Collect 900 Sizzling Cinderpollen: Once you’ve gathered a whopping 900 of these, head to Cendvin, located at 74.4, 45.2. Exchange your coins for the Soaring Meaderbee and become its proud owner!
For us, it took roughly 2 to 2.5 hours with a 2×4 composition, going at a relaxed pace while chilling on Discord and having a good time.
And because “Time is money, friend,” you’ll also make some nice gold on the side while farming!
Tips for a More Profitable Farm:
- Tip #1: Bring a skinner along. Most of the mobs in this area are skinnable, and our 2.5-hour farm yielded around 3,000 Gloom Chitins, 330 Stormcharged Leathers, 280 Burning Cinderbee Setae, and a handful of other skinning byproducts.
- Tip #2: All group members who were level 80 received roughly eight to ten ilvl 564 (blue) BoE pieces of gear, along with many green BoEs. If you’re not level 80 yet, you’ll only receive green BoEs.
- Tip #3: Grey items looted during the farm will yield an average of 4,000 gold when sold.
- Tip #4: Everyone in the group got at least two Crackling Shards during the farm, bringing us one step closer to gathering the ten needed to obtain Alunira.
Overall, this has been one of the most profitable farms of the expansion, and it’s highly recommended! The time commitment is definitely worth the results.
