Another Tier, Another All-Nighter for Gordian Knot – WoW EU Guild legends in action!

Five hours and fifty minutes. That’s how long it took us to turn the brand new Manaforge Omega inside out on our first night of the tier. True to our WoW Best Guild tradition, this was our 14th All-Nighter, and as always, we went in with determination, caffeine, and questionable life choices

The Night in Numbers & Notable Moments

• Normal Difficulty? Conquered. Every boss fell, though Heroic proved trickier with our current gear. After some stubborn wipes on the second boss, we opted to clear Normal for loot, then went back to Heroic to down both Loom’ithar and Soulbinder Naazindhri, alongside our first kill on Plexus Sentinel
• We’re starting the tier with an all-time low roster of just 23 raiders.
• Almost everyone stuck around till the end, what’s six hours of raiding anyway?
• The beam in the forge teleporter became the true raid boss, claiming countless victims until we learned to respect its lethal glare, or we didn’t?
• Athlios made his glorious return to main tanking after a very long break from tanking.
• Spilling continues to terrorise DPS meters — the “nerf Spilling” campaign gains momentum.
• Gharmoul proved that healing prowess doesn’t require copy–paste skills. (that happened on another raid, but I thought it’s cool to include this useful information here)
• Kéélyio’s internet deserves its own raid difficulty.
• Alearion raided from his car. With a laptop. We’re still processing this.
• Huntgak decided a vacation was more important than the All-Nighter. Bold move. (traitor)
• Infested has finally embraced “cheat-death” tactics like a true survivalist.

The Spirit of the All-Nighter

The Manaforge wasn’t just a raid; it was an endurance test. From mechanical chaos to internet woes, every wipe only added to the laughs. Our raiding nights have always been about the mix of progress, banter, and moments that turn into guild legends — and XIV was no different.

“And so, with the teleporter beam still haunting our dreams and the DPS meters still smoking from Spilling’s rampage, we march onwards. The tier has just begun — and the best is yet to come.”
